Strategies and goals

What do you want your money to do for you?

By looking at what you're trying to achieve with your investments, we can help you to create a strategy to meet your financial goals.

Types of investment goals

There are two main types of investment goals, each suited to a different mix of investment types. Please note, our investment service is only available to clients who have at least £100,000 (or currency equivalent) in savings and investments with Barclays International Banking:

Income

Top up your salary or pension with a regular income

Income investments pay regular returns throughout the life of the investment.

Growth

Maximise your wealth by investing long-term

If you don’t need returns to be paid out regularly, then investing for growth could be right for you.

Remember that all investments carry risk. Investments can fall in value and you could get back less than you invested. Investments in currencies other than your own may rise or fall because of changes in exchange rates.
